Year 4/5 2019 - 2020

Mr Wood

Mr Wood joined the team at Adlington in September 2013. Prior to moving into Primary teaching he worked as a Theatre Designer and college lecturer.

Class 4/5  This is where you will find details of home learning for the coming weeks.

Be sure to to check regularly for updates on our school Twitter Account @Adl_Primary - Look out for the one from Ian Douglas The Storyteller

First News - The present issue of First News should be available to download from below

Maths Update - 31/03/20 - Times Tables Rockstars is up and running. You should have received your login details via parentmail and it is great to see that some of you have already been on and started your journey to rock stardom. I'll keep an eye on your progress and get ready for any 'Rockslam Challenges' you may decide to send me.

New in the 'Files to Download' section below you will find:

* A document of activities for the week beginning 30/03/2020.

* Home Learning Packs for Year 4 and Year 5 along with their answers. There is specific information about these in the 'Week beginning 30/03/20' document.

I have also left the following in the 'Files to Download' section below for continued reference.

* An introduction document to share with children, explaining the main online resources that they already use, ways to make use of the school books you have at home and the expectations for the presentation of work done over the coming weeks.

* A document introducing a range of websites suitable for Year 4 & 5 home learning.

* A document of activities for the week beginning 23/03/2020.

Do remember to stay active - believe it or not, Mr. Wood is trying his best too. He’s not managed a Joe Wicks session yet but his bike is out of retirement and his swing-ball skills are developing nicely.

Thank you and all the best.

Mr. Wood
